hyrelumen.com is run by HyreLumen, based in Robe, South Australia. These conditions apply whenever you visit the site or contact us through it. Using the site means you accept them, so if you disagree with anything here, please stop using the site.
They apply in the same way whether you arrive from an advertisement, a search engine or a link a friend sent you.
In these conditions, “HyreLumen”, “we” and “our” refer to us. “You” refers to any visitor or applicant. An “employer” is the organisation that offers the work and is responsible for paying for it.
HyreLumen provides a recruitment and introduction service. We do not employ applicants. Visiting the site or messaging HR does not make you our employee or create any contract of employment with us.
Roles shown on the site are home-based positions supplied by outside employers. Openings change regularly, and a role may fill or be altered before an introduction takes place.
Role descriptions are a general guide. HR explains the specifics of each opening, and the employer confirms them. Details can vary slightly between employers.
An introduction is not a promise of work. Every employer decides independently whether to offer a role.
To apply, you contact HR on WhatsApp, where we answer your questions and outline the next steps. WhatsApp will not send a message until you press send. If WhatsApp is not an option for you, email careers@hyrelumen.com and we will continue by email.
HyreLumen will never ask you to pay for applying, buy tokens or credits, top up a balance, pay to access work or pay to receive wages. Anyone asking for money in our name is not acting for us, and we would like you to report it.
The employer sets pay, hours and other conditions. Before starting, request written details from the employer, including its registered name, a description of the work, the pay rate, the expected hours and the payment schedule.
We work to keep our website, advertisements and messages consistent and correct. If you see a difference between an advert and the site, please let us know and we will correct the part that is wrong.
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled.
You must not misuse the site, attempt to get around its security, scrape it in bulk, or use it to distribute spam or harmful content.
Please do not contact us using someone else’s identity or try to gather details about other applicants. We may stop corresponding with anyone who is abusive to our staff.
Text, graphics, layout and photographs on the site are owned by HyreLumen or licensed to us. You may read and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Parts of our service rely on providers such as WhatsApp and Cloudflare. Their terms govern your use of their services, and we cannot control how they operate.
Where the site links to another service, such as WhatsApp, we are not responsible for that service’s content or practices. Check its policies before sharing information with it.
HR replies to messages as soon as practical during business days. Replies may occasionally take longer around public holidays or busy periods. Please keep messages respectful, and we will do the same.
We try to keep the site running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features may be changed, paused or removed at any time.
These conditions do not exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
As far as the law permits, HyreLumen is not liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from use of the site, or for the decisions of employers. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to providing the service again.
We welcome suggestions about the site and our process. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve our service without any obligation to you, and we will not publish your name with it unless you agree.
We correct errors on the site as quickly as practical. A clear error does not create an obligation for either of us.
Provide truthful information, keep your contact details up to date and read any offer closely before agreeing to it.
You are responsible for the security of your phone and WhatsApp account, for the equipment and internet service you use, and for any tax due on income you earn.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages affecting our providers.
You can end contact with us at any time by telling HR or emailing us. We may stop processing an application where information supplied is untrue or a role is no longer open. Clauses that are meant to continue, such as those on liability, remain in effect.
If any clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply.
These conditions, our Privacy Notice and our Compliance Statement make up the full agreement between you and HyreLumen regarding the site.
These conditions are governed by the law of South Australia. You and HyreLumen submit to the courts of that state.
We will send notices to the email address or WhatsApp number you have used with us. Your notices can be sent to careers@hyrelumen.com.
